New Favorite Movie

Now I understand why so many compared this movie to Love Jones. While there is similarities as far as poetry and love, it was unique in it's rawness and subject matter. I enjoyed the poetry very much and of course I could never get enough of Omari, but that's another story. But I enjoyed her journey and her discovery of herself, it gave her strength to break the cycle of abuse. I like the fact that it was poetry that ultimately rescued both Kalindra and Curtis.





I may not have all the answers, but I do have all the questions.
