The Sunglasses

...were the only good thing about this movie. Went to see it because Viggo is great.

I was saddened to see how old he is looking. Not criticizing him, just saying it's sad is all. He was one cool looking dude, back in the day.

P.S. The whole movie hinged on a very thin plot point -- that Viggo couldn't retrieve the passports because there might have been other private detectives lurking around the hotel looking for him?! wtf? Then the rest of the story was spent having all 3 major characters having multiple personality disorders.

Bizarre.

he was one cool loking dude back in the day? i still think he looks cool, if not even cooler..

reply

I wasn't aware there was an age limit on "cool". ☺

reply

agreed. viggo is still hot as heck. i do not think he's had any work done. aside from the fact that he's not the type, he's not that old and he looks his age. not younger, not older, but still hot.

I disagree with you, i think Viggo has aged nicely. Whatever work he's had done (if any) has been done well. I hope he doesn't get the hollywood plastic face in the future. It'd be nice to see a good looking actor like him age gracefully. He and Kirsten D made a nice may december couple in this

He will always be a handsome, sexy man. You do not have to be a 22 year old to be hot, trust me.

The sunglasses are great lol. Anyone happen to know the make and model?

reply

I discovered that the ones Viggo wears are made by Persol but I haven't been able to find the model. There are several in the Clubmaster style but none I've seen are identical.

Whatever the case, they're well out of my price range.

I think they made him up to look more heavy set and old. Maybe he deliberately gained weight or pushed out his belly some. He has always been lean in every other movie I've seen him in, but here he was playing the middle aged business man eating donut / coffee breakfasts after passing out drunk on the beach and sitting around eating in fancy restaurants all the time. He was an alcoholic from stress and suspicion and definitely not very concerned about fitness or appearance. Smoking kept him from ballooning more.
