6 Bullets... funny title for the movie

I loved it, really i did, and i think its one of Van Damme best work lately. But why 6 Bullets? That little explanation as text at the beginning... i dunno... kinda felt weird for me. I guess they could had work a better title. In quebec, its call "Le Bourreau" or "The Executioner" if translated in english. I guess it come from the fact they call Gaul THE BUTCHER many time in the movie... wich is his job sure, but also a typical name to imput to a mercenary or somebody that kill... At first i was like "why the hell they didn't just translate it literaly..." cause i hate when french titles are like a random imput instead of a translation of the original title... 6 Bullets... 6 Balles... easy as that... But they change it.

But now that i have seen the movie.. somewhat i can understand.. the title seem weird... I was thinking a part of the movie would had our heroes stack against the wall with only 6 bullets left or something....lol wich is a full clip of a revolver

I thought the same thing. Stupid Title. It doesn't make any sense.

At the start of the film text tells the story of someone selling a child for only 6 bullets and how he would never let something like that happen again
