Why is Gigi...

...the only one who reacts badly to eating Jesse's flesh? It's implied that all three partake, correct? But it almost seemed like Jesse's "spirit" or whatever took revenge on Gigi but left the other two alone. Any idea why? The only difference I remember is that Gigi is the most artificial of the group, in terms of all the work she's had done. But to be honest, in a lot of scenes, I couldn't tell her and Sarah apart. Perhaps that was intentional?

(Spoilers)

Perhaps whatever sickness overcame Gigi will happen to the other one (Sarah) later on.

As for Ruby, I'm still not entirely sure what was going on in that scene in the moonlight. Likely one of many moments that reportedly made people walk out on the movie at Cannes. Not to sound crude, but it was hard to tell if Ruby was doing some sort of..um, bodily relief or killing herself (was that blood from a wound she made?)

Some of the shots in the movie I think are non-literal, and that's one of them. Some of the imagery in the movie seems to be fantastical in nature.

My impression is that Gigi just couldn't hack it. I got the vibe that Ruby had been down this route before - a lot. Her work at the morgue (and "play" at the morgue) hints to this. I think Gigi was new to it, maybe Sarah had done it before?
