Not only IS the actress who plays Rosa older than the character, she LOOKS even older than 23. And it's a definite distraction preventing the viewer from buying into the character.

In what world would someone be 23 and a grandmother? The character is obviously late 30s or early 40s. Hence why her sister said at her age; her baby would be a mongol.

Ali, you are confusing Rosa and Rita. Rosa is the student whose family was broken up by Rita's affair with her father.

I thought she looked too old, too. It might have helped if they dressed her in clothes from this century. Her blazers and pastels make her look like a secretary from 1987.

She looked creepy as shyt too. Like she likes to set fires and randomly stare at people.

I totally agree. I couldn't look at that child for too long, I felt like she just crawled out of a well to drag me to hell or something. Scary.

I waz thinking the exact same thing.. It was so distracting! And the way they dressed her.. No wonder she was such a brat! Whatever happened to her btw? I'm halfway through season 2 now and she just randomly dissappeared.
