Gawd Awful Ending

As soon as the kid was in a wreck and needed a heart you could see the rest of the movie coming. I would rather Dawson had died on the oil rig and the whole thing been a dying dream until they said goodbye again.

What we got here is... failure to communicate!

I couldn't cry anymore by the end. I was disgusted with the ending. Not disgusted in a mean way but geez could it be anymore depressing??

This is a Nicholas Sparks book that was made into a film. Have you seen any of his movies that haven't ended with needing a box of tissues.

I completely agree, OP!! So predictable! It was like reading one of those cheesy stories that 11 year old girls put into comment sections on Facebook. UGH!!

Hey folks,

This is typical Nicholas Sparks. If you like that stuff, have at it, but it is just too depressing for me. I had started to watch the film until I learned it was a Nicholas Sparks story. At that point I simply stopped and moved on to something else. Sparks seems like an adjective for "misery" to me.

Best wishes,
