Overdone

Lol@this movie. It has the hero and villain going around with an open shirt in contemporary styling, despite it's likely supposed to be a Gambeson, it looks like a modern jacket.

It's fantasy, which I respect, they put Arthur firmly in a fantasy world where he belongs, but all the dark costumes made this look like a b movie, despite all the extensive CGI, which is what I think was overdone in the extreme. Even the elephants were overdone.
Is it the worst movie ever? No, it is watchable, but it has nothing much in common with the Arthurian cycle. It's kind of the opposite of that King Arthur (2004) roman soldier hypothesis. It goes all-in fantasy mode, which is ok.

Indeed.

The movie was actually pretty good, with good acting and effects. But people didn't understand the Guy Ritchie cut-and-jump directing, or like the Arthur-from-the-brothel story line I suppose. The movie was too big budget to be just okay, it needed to be a hit.

Too bad, would have liked to see the rest of the Round Table stories (there were 5 more movies planned.)
