R RATED PLEASE!!!!!

PG13 will suck ass for this.

Do it the right way, R rated.

reply

It could actually be cool have an R rated King Arthur film a la Excalibur again.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

reply

There's nothing about this movie to warrant an R rating

it rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

reply

If you want R rated then go watch Camelot. That was done the right way. This movie is wrong in so mamy ways. Excalibur WAS NOT the sword that was in the stone. At least Camelot got that part right too

reply

Excalibur wasn't the sword in the stone in Malory. But Malory is not the one and only Arthurian source - he is a major one, but also a very late one. The earlier and much longer Vulgate Cycle has Excalibur and the Sword in the Stone being one and the same.
I also disagree that Camelot "was done the right way". It had its moments of grace and a few memorable traits (such as Eva Green's interpretation of Morgan) but on the w hole it was a terribl, terrible sham. Veyr poor writing and directing.

"Occasionally I'm callous and strange."

For me, the real problem is that Ritchie is simply the wrong director for this.
