If they would change a few things.

They need to take a page out of Gene Simmons Family Jewels playbook. I think his show has lasted as long as it has because he is always doing something & no doubt its scripted, but I think it being scripted has helped keep it from dullsville. Roseanne is going to have to do more than ride around the farm and invite people over to sit on the couch. She also needs to quit the cussing because the constant bleeping out that the censors do really takes away from what she said. I mean the sentence will have 6 words in it and 3 of them will be bleeped, the bleep then runs over onto the next word which wasnt bad and you have to kinda figure out what that word was. I'm not being a prude because I can cuss a blue streak myself sometimes. My point is the constant bleeping gets old and makes me lose interest.

I am impressed with the people she has surrounded herself with. I think they all genuinely love her and none of them seem spoiled including her. She cant get anymore laid back and down to earth than she is. How many stars with her money would buy a 30 year old clunker of a truck -like the produce wagon she bought last night? Most rich folks would have one custom made and decked out but she went the simple route, I think it shows she's a simple person with a lot of bucks.

I was surprised at her house that the furniture looked old and working class. You'd expect her to have a nicer house than she does.

Finally the 4 native guys that sings those ridiculous songs- that sound like childrens nursery rhymes- need to be cut from the show. Its beyond stupid and might have been ok once but they have become a constant and its really lame.

I agree on the singing guys. When it is not overdone and the timing is right, they can be funny but some of the episodes it's just way too much for me.

So far, that is my only complaint. I enjoy the show.

It is about her nut farm, so beefing up the existing antics and scripts seems unnecessary to me. If it moves too much from its farm concept, it might not work.

Each episode seems to involve a good mix of farming antics, home life, city escapades. It has it all family, friends and work...I think the balanced combo is great.

I don't think her home furnishings look old and working class. I saw quite a bit of local culture incorporated into her home. It shows respect for her locality. It is a Hawaiian nut farm, it would look weird if they put in overly expensive items. Plus, she has mentioned wanting to redeem herself on many levels. Her heart and mind are in the right place. She has other fantastic properties so why ruin the farm?

You are right, her down to earth nature is spot on and it totally helps to create and keep a bridge between her and her fans. People can easily identify with Roseanne and where others might quickly be forgotten she remains - it is what made her famous and keeps her relevant ans she is smart enough to know to keep this appeal going.

Like I mentioned, She owns quite a bit of other houses that are fantastic. For a farm, it's fine. Can you imagine her trying to do a reality style show out of one of her other places and putting on Hollywood, rich airs?
