Worst music I've ever heard, made film unwatchable.

The "eerie" music that played throughout was headache inducing, low tones and prolonged high pitched ringing that would make your dog howl in pain. Other music was played at way too high of volume, over the actor's voices in certain parts. I literally had to skip some scenes when the high pitched tones came screeching in. It ruined the entire movie.

Music was superb. You need to pipe down.

Just came across this because I thought Ti West directed it. Either way, the music you described sounds very similar to Goblin. High pitched synth, woodwinds, eerie type music that was made to accompany horror films. I remember the first time I heard Profondo Rosso in Suspiria. Never have & never will hear anything like it. That's a perfect example of how much influence a soundtrack can have on a film. Curious now about who's on this films soundtrack

Didn't the beginning say music by gremlin which immediately I thought of goblin which was fitting. I liked it a lot.
