3) White kids can't dance.

4) Bobby is the king at getting the girls to hand it over!

5) The second phone call immediately after hanging up with someone you know is always the killer

7) Every door that a serial killer touches will be unlocked. (Or no one ever thinks of locking the door in a horror movie)
8) There are only one or two cops around when there is a serial killer.
9) A cop will go after a serial killer alone without backup.
10) Serial killers can sneak up behind everyone unnoticed, because they are kung fu masters and can walk without sound.

I've got 5

1) hair and makeup looked just like it does now, who would have thought?

2) Apparently screenwriters don't exist, completely non original plotline yet the film still got made !- not all 80's slashers were like this, make an effort ('House of the Devil' Says hi)

3) The Writer of the song used in the disco scene was a FUTURE DWELLER. He references CD'S in the lyrics despite the first ever compact disc not getting manufactured until 1982 even though the film is set in 1981 and the CD didn't even take off for a few years after 1982. Although had they followed this up I'd have been significantly more invested in the film- A film where the cast gradually unravel that they're stuck in a stupid 80's slasher? Genius.

4)Rotary style telephones can be used as a device to sum up the 80's if you have a problem with securing any props or costume design whatsoever (I mean really? not even a ' Guys, go home tonight and watch friday the 13th then try and dress and wear your hair like them- MEMO - DON'T USE YOUR *beep* STRAIGHTENERS)

5) Scary guy can be scary, because 80's movies.

In the 80s only my grandfather had a rotary phone and I didn't see a CD player until I went away to college in 1989, the richest kid in one of the frats had one. ONE GUY. These tribute films are on my last nerve.
