They seem to be the most popular mentors with the strongest singers. Danny is charming and cute and all that, but just not a convincing leader to me. Tom Jones obviously has the most clout, but there are too many old contestants on his team. Might not resonate with a younger audience...

Too early to tell I think. Before I make any predictions I'd like to see the battle stage.
I agree that Tom's contestants won't hold that much appeal to a younger audience but given that it airs Saturday evening, the target audience is a family audience. A lot of older people will pick up their phones for the older contestants.
As for Danny, he has several pretty good people on his team.
