I gave this art house crap a 3, which is what I thought of Birdman, only because of the most gorgeous Zoe, and the younger daughter who was a delight. Otherwise, I despise watching such an unflinchingly depressing movie. I hated it.

I'm glad you hated watching this -- those of us with mood disorders or who love someone with a mood disorder hate living it. You might have missed the tone though -- the saddest thing about it is that it's not depressing, it's just life. If your life looks a lot different from this, then you won the mental health lottery -- you should be glad.
