This should be a great game (1st post)

Shattered dimension was great each universe had a lot to offer and I have to admit that Noir was my favorite because of the stealth angle. I am looking forward to this game.

I've only just learned of this now.
So is this a sequel of sorts to Shattered Dimensions?
If you're a fan of that one, I wonder if you've noticed how many people seem to dislike it? Weird eh?
It seems a lot of praise got heaped onto the movie based ones...which I thought were just bland...I actually thought the ps1/dreamcast spider-man games were a bit more fun.
Friend or Foe may as well have not even been a spider-man game, and in regards to "web of shadows" which I personally enjoyed and thought had the best swing system of any game, I can get if people didn't like how much of a grind it was to complete some of the missions.

Shattered dimensions though?
I personally regard it as the best spider-man game ever made.
I had a few issues with the Ultimate portion of the game being a bit button-bashy, and personally I didn't much like the 2099 stages at all...but I feel as though the "Amazing" levels and definitely the "Noir" levels, along with the overall storyline, combat system and EPIC boss fights (The Sandman was SO good), more than made up for it.
As a fan of the comics and player of the games from the 8-bit era onwards, I feel as though despite a few minor issues it was nothing but a great game, really high quality production.

For a future game?
I'd like a more cohesive storyline between the "spider-men" featured, more great boss fights, slightly more "sandbox" feel, ability to choose different spider-men at various points in the game - different paths/ways to do missions.
Other than that, can't say how much more I'd improve.

Yes it somewhat of a sequel but details have been yet revealed. Spider-man 2099 clearly was aware of the Amazing Spider-man but it could be changed. But given how they set SD I don't think he was aware that there were more in other dimensions let along in the future.

Loved it, it is the best game to feature Spiderman in any capacity. The second best was Spider man 2. I enjoyed each universe but I will admit Noir was the best one then Amazing, Ultimate and 2099. Yes the game was outstanding.

Well I'm not complaining about the boss fights I felt it was real and I didn't think it cheapened anything. There should be more Noir games in the future the stealth portion was great
