DUGGAR'S REACT TO THIS STORY

When asked to comment, the Duggars said they didn't turn their son in, because, "It wasn't like he molested ALL of our children. But when he started after the barn animals, we put a stop to it right away."

Asked why they kept him in the house with all the young girls, he said, "We believe that variety in all things is good for our son. We knew that our prayers would take effect at any time, and we didn't want to rush Jesus. But it was the barn animals that really caught our attention. We could have none of that around our home. And it wouldn't have looked good to the men with the cameras."

Even though I joke about the above, this incident is proof of so many things: Prayer, like their prayers that their son would stop molesting, is really total bull sh t. It obviously doesn't work. TV is replete with news shows showing people praying for people injured who then die right after the prayers. Belief in a dead carpenter in the sky is just an ancient curse that the ancients used to scare people, or for others to use to establish a clan of like-believers. Wake-up, it's the 21st Century, stop believing like men dressed in blankets, who thought the earth was flat, and that the earth was the center of the universe did.. Wanting 19 or more kids is selfish, period. And to promote that on TV makes it a vile, sick network.
