His French QUEBEC accent drove me crazy!!!

The main guy who played the imposter had such a strong FRENCH QUEBEC accent that I almost had to turn off the movie. I'm from Quebec and am English and for all those who know how the French treat us like we're second class citizens on our own land, well, I don't have anything nice and or good to say about them.

Btw, how could a dark haired French Canadian 23 year old guy convince a small town Texas family that he was their blonde haired son/brother? I mean really?

reply

What are you talking aboot? Frederic Bourdin was born in France. He didn't "play" the imposter, he *was* the actual imposter.

reply

The Texas family were low class blithering idiots!

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.

His accent is French. France French, not Quebec French. Just watch any Jamel Debouzze movie where he speaks in English.

Quebec isn't "your" land. If you're being treated like a second-class citizen, it's because of your trash, entitled attitude, not because you're English-speaking.

As for your last question, how can you ask that if you've watched the movie? It's made pretty clear. They were desperate and/or covering for the murder of the child by his brother. Desperate people do desperate things.
