So, movies about people that impersonate others just for reasons. Or return home and they don't know if it is the person that was missing.

- Olivier Olivier (Agnieszka Holland), which is actually pretty similar in plot to what happened in this case.
- The Return of Martin Guerre (1982) and its remake Sommersby
- No man of her own (1950) and its kind of remake While You Were Sleeping (1995). EDIT: and its straight remake Mrs Winterbourne!
- And one of my favourites from Spain, El Color de las Nubes, though there this becomes a minor subplot in the middle of the movie.
