Starz version makes it 10x worse

Not only is this film so badly made and innacurate a shell but the version on Starz is dubbed over so badly with American voices (without trying to do accents lol) that it's almost unwatchable. I film about such a widely known battle and one I'm sure Russian people are very passionate about is should not be made so careless. It could have been great and I would rather watch it in Russian with subs but I doubt it would be much better. What a shame they butchered this film and in 3D no less !!!!. Do yourself a favor and watch the original which isn't any masterpiece by any stretch but way better than this crap. Heck watch some documentaries or read about it. Anything than get your info. from this "film" ...

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!

That was a really bad decision ... dub over the Russians ... but subtitle the German. Freak Russians sounded like Fred Rogers???

I like this film. Watched it twice in Russian and now I like it a little better dubbed in English. I think of it as a comic book/graphic novel telling of this incredible, historical moment. The CGI is in the service of recreating history rather than the supernatural.
Do I believe squadrons of soldiers continued charging while engulfed in flame? I believe its a powerful visualization of these troops who truly, desperatately, suicidely continued attacking despite overwhelming odds and political officers' guns to their backs.I think its funny that Tarantino gets lauded for using similar license as in the ingenius bank shot here.
As for the guy that wanted Russian accented English? He's the same guy who casts all British actors as Nazis. Oh puhleeze.
The best Stalingrad battle movie I've seen is the '93 German film, Stalingrad.
