this is some personal $1m pro palin film.. Nick is not a fan of Palin, and this is not the write page for his film.. EXCLUSIVE: Sarah Palin receives what is by all indications a very kind treatment in a new documentary that will premiere in theaters July 15. But a second, far more scathing Palin documentary is being prepared by a more experienced filmmaker. And it looks a lot more likely to stir the pot.
Actually the release date is this Friday, September 30th. I see you've given your complete thoughts on the movie over two months before it's release.

He does low-budget documentaries and a couple of independent films while turning down lucrative offers. He's famous for that. Crazy but true.
Do check out "Tattooed Tears" (American young men in prison), "Soldier Girls" (American female soldiers) and "Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer" some time.
I saw this documentary at the london film festival. And this starts out neutral and then uncovers information about her which is very unflattering. So if this was a pro palin documetary they would have avoided trying to uncover her dodgy dealings.
But quite good that you got your facts 100% incorrect!

Actually, he just finds out what people from Wasila have to say about her. He tried to get her side of things, but she wouldn't cooperate and neither would her supporters (particularly once word got out that he had dared to interview some of her detractors; with Sarah, it's all black and white, and anyone who isn't enthusiastically on her side is an enemy). If the things people say about her in their interviews crucifies her, well, there you go. You betcha!
It has some decent parts that just seem to be neutral, but it is a very bias peice on her. I mean, I don't like her a bit, but I prefer docs that just shoot footage with min editing.

It is biased and that is the point. Palin refused to be involved and so did her "friends and supporters" because they were told not to be. It basically shows you how much power she has in that small community. I live in a small community, albeit in Australia, and it rang more than a few bells of truth from my experiences.
He does not crucify her, you are turning it upside down, sarah palin crucifies anyone not only who criticizes her but also persons she cannot use anymore. it takes a lot of guts to speak out as she lives in a small community and clear risks are involved of speaking out.
