Oh Danny boy.

Danny, WTF were you thinking signing up to this? An agent with half a brain should of warned you off. This was never gonna work. All its succeeded in doing is opening you up to a kicking from smug critics. How big is the mortgage that you have to sign up to dross like this? Sack the agent and get back to doing what you do best.

OK, that's your second funny post in a short thread, you've had your lot now!

Threatening women with violence?

Come on, that was just banter.

Out of interest, why do you think that his advice to the young Zoo reader to get drunk and smash stuff up or to cut his ex-girlfriend's face was banter?

Be still Moriarty, do you want us both out of this suit?

Im really tempted to run with this one, new some Bernard Righton would pounce. I was being sarcastic so jump down from the soapbox.

philbevs,
If you want to see it as me being PC and looking to be judgmental then so be it......however I was genuinely asking why you thought that.

From my memory, the official line from Dyer was that he was misquoted in the printed text, not that he was joking when he said/wrote it, since he denied he ever did.

....but you were being sarcastic, so i guess the question is void anyway. Cheers.

Jeez, so polite, I'm feeling kind of guilty now. Lets move on eh.
