I must admit,my first reaction was to think "Whitehall Farce", and on looking to see if they were what I thought they were, I was not surprised to see that Brian Rix had made a BBC Playhouse called "Let Sleeping Wives Lie".

I have no idea what the plot of that was, but the definite impression of this latest work was of a remake of the likes of "Confessions of a...", so there was some pleasure in recognising the likes of Derek Griffiths and Jeffrey Holland.

Not much, though - I tend to find farces almost painful to watch - the dodging around doors thing was old when doors were first invented.
