How did they managed to make Judi Dench signed for this movie?

Even though it's a cameo(thank god) but I find it rather odd that she agreed to be in the casting list.

I think many of the big names who provided cameos for this abomination were friends of the writer/director Ray Cooney.

I think a lot of favours were called in for this film. And then some.

I would imagine she did it for very little or as a favour, the cameos are because Ray Cooney is very established in theatre. I can't bare his plays personally but thats the reason.

Certainly not for a paycheck as the film didn't have a large budget.
