Wonderful Film (TIFF)

I was lucky enough to see this film last night at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was wonderful!! The writing, acting, directing... everything was on point. The humour within the film was a pleasant surprise as well. If you get the chance to see this film, see it!!!

It's a great film indeed.

I just saw it this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. A very intriguing story laced, as has been said, with dark humour. I came out of it thinking about what it all meant - fact, fiction, the intermingling of the two, the reader's function, the effect of the written word on the reader. Fascinating ideas.

I'd consider myself lucky too for seeing this film. It was a great adaptation of a play for the screen.

This film was fcking brilliant!

And Fabrice Luchini and Kristin Scott Thomas incredibly convincing as their characters. They didn't seem to be acting at all.
