The idea that a literature teacher (or his wife who runs an ART gallery) would find what Claude was writing to be disturbing or sensationalist or transformative or anything besides boring. I think the wife even said "He could be dangerous" once. LOL.

The symbolism with the family was jaw-droppingly heavy-handed.
