Ass kiss reviews

Wanted to watch this until I saw that it has 3 glowing reviews, all from people who have simply signed up to IMDB JUST to write a review about how awesome this film is. Think I'll give it a wide birth thanks. If you're going to sign up to to "ass kiss" a film you've worked on, at least have the intelligence to write a few reviews on other films first, to make it look plausable.

Ya, I am very good at spotting these shills, and the very first review I read was so glowing that it just smacked of bias.

How about you stop reading reviews and start watching movies instead.

You might have something interesting to post about the movies you watch, rather than the movies you won't watch.

You were too scared to watch because you thought doing so meant you'd been duped by a few production reviews. It's your ego. You're saying the movie is unwatchable. That's more biased than those reviews.

You ever looked at the covers on VHS tapes or DVD's? They have typically 3 little short glowing review comments on the cover. The Internet Movie Database is like the jacket on those covers.

If you didn't rent the movie because of the cover you haven't seen it. You have no basis whatsoever to make comment on the film.

How about you climb off of your high horse and stop being a d/i/c/k/h/e/a/d?

A: if you don't like what i post, here's a tip that anyone with a brain would do, don't read them!

B: It has nothing to do with being "too scared" to watch films like this, and more to do with the fact that i work hard for a living and don't want to waste what spare bit of cash i have disposable, from my wage to watch films that I'm not going to get any enjoyment from. This is why sites like the IMDB exist, so people can discuss thier experiences of a film and let others know the kind of quality they can expect from said film before spending money renting it out. If you had half a brain you'd realise this.

C: When people who are so obviously related to or attached to the director, producers or stars of a film, sign up just to give one 10 star glowing review of a film that turns out to be so awful in every way that you almost feel like bringing a law suit against them for tricking you out of your cash, it can really leave a bitter taste in your mouth. DVD covers can be misleading but most of the planet understands this these days, which is why lots of people try to do a little online research on a new film, before shelling out money on renting it blindly, as you seem to think is the sensible thing to do.

D: My original post has nothing to do with the film itself so once again, you've made yourself look like a right t/i/t. My post is to do with my annoyance of the fake reviews that people keep planting on these films that dupe others into thinking they are high quality movies when they're barely high school play grade stuff. Therefore, i have EVERY right to comment on this thread. Once again, if you don't like it, don't read it, use the block button so you don't have to see my posts, it really is that simple that even you could understand it.

E: You seem to think it's perfectly fine for people to post fake and dishonest reviews on films to trick viewers into renting it out, yet you think someone like me complaining of this is out of line, something tells me you're either extremely dumb or you have some vested interest in this film.

F: have a nice day.
