Fake Reviews - won't watch
I refuse to watch movies with fake reviews on principle, because all that does is support that tactic on all new movies. If you want good reviews try making a good movie.

shareWhat he's talking about is the latest trend for someone connected with a movie to post a glowing review, even though it is crap. Always click on "See all my reviews" beside the reviewer's name to check if it's legit or not. Here, you will see that this "lbrookse" has never written any review for any other movie before - a dead giveaway that it's simply promotional garbage you are reading.
And yes, before some smartarse jumps down my throat and says "Well, everyone has to write their first review sometime" - that, of course is true, but if it's a person who knows how this board works, they would be upfront about saying it's their first review, and they would follow it up by reviewing other movies.
Here, the fact that this "person" has never written any other reviews, has written a glowing review for a movie which almost all others says is nowhere near as good as that review, and has not openly stated it's their first review, all lead to the conclusion that this was written by someone who has a vested interest in you spending money to see the film!
gotcha, had no clue that was a new thing going about this website...well that is unfortunate, especially since it is actually a pretty good film (i.e not amazing) but better than a lot of the garbage that came out so far this year...
shareShhh! Don't say things like that on here, I've just had a beatdown on my thread for daring to complain about the fake reviews. Apparently, it's fine to post fake reviews on here but not to complain about them lol. You gotta love the IMDB :-)
