Potential Mitch Rapp

I think Jim Caviezal is the perfect person to play Mitch Rapp, ignoring his age which in theory could be helped with makeup, what do you think? And if you're not sure, watch person of interest it's like an audition tape for the character

Erik Palladino would be a somewhat unknown actor with the body type and skin tone to play the role. I'm sorry to say that since Vince Flynn passed away, there won't be enough urgency and guidance needed for the movie to be made. I hope I'm wrong.

Logan Marshall-Green.

5'11'--Too short.

I think Colin Farrell could pull it off, except for being 22, just revive his SWAT character you are good to go. Grow or a beard.and you've got a black haired, middle eastern. Plus he has had weapons training and can handle with realism.

As for Stan Hurley, Willis could pull it off, I am thinking in a upcoming book there is a scene where he is being tortured, and Hurley al, I could see Wellthat scene off. As for Kennedy, Diane Ladd or Ashley Judd could do it. And could be Scott Glenn. Those are the major characters for now.

reply

So much for posting with a tablet. Editing issues to clarify Stansfield, could be Scott Glenn. And I think Willis could pull off the torture scene where he goes nuts in an upcoming book.

reply

@ 5'10", Farrell is too short, probably a little too old. You need someone who can do the part for several sequels over the next 6-10 years. How about Armie Hammer or Brandon Routh?

Scott Glenn would be good for Hurley. Ed Harris would also be very good.

Irene Kennedy--How about Amy Adams or Keri Russell?

lavol - You do realize that you are responding to comments from years ago and that the characters have all been cast and that they are well into filming? Don't you?

All are too old for this book. I like Stephen amel

Yes

I'm picturing Tyler Hoechlin... I feel like he could do the role some justice.

how about gerard butler? has the physical attributes, few suggestions of guys like colin farrell and logan marshall green are too small, bruce willis for stan, helen mirren for kennedy....

reply

Gerard butler has the ruggedness and build of Mitch Rapp, but might be a bit too old for the young Mitch Rapp in Kill Shot and American Assassin. Tom Hardy could work, as long as his accent isn't British. Colin Farrell can certainly pull off the rough attitude. Jason Statham has the appearance - besides the hair - but would need to also work on the accent, and perhaps a different style of acting from what he normally does I think that Helen Mirren is too old for Kennedy - Ashley Judd seems like a good suggestion. Scott Glenn would make a great Stansfield, but I had another in mind, but can't remember :/ . Bruce Willis would be a good fit for Stan, because both Willis and Stan are veterans, so to speak.

reply

Ashley Judd I think would be a perfect Dr. Kennedy! Still not big on the Bruce Willis thing, but it is starting to grow on me.

As for Mitch, I feel that Jensen Ackles would be outstanding. Young, sort of no name, but has experience and is really impressing me with Supernatural (I'm nearing the end of season 8).

James Ferris II fits the character perfectly plus he went to Syracuse!

Tom hardy or Sterling Alexander(somewhat un-known actor who almost completly fits the character) from being left handed to looking almost exactly like him...
