If you can ignore the gaping plot holes and lazy scriptwriting I guess it's okay.

Don't expect greatness here. Most of the budget was spent on car chase scenes.

Most of the budget was spent on the cast - Jackson and Reynolds. They didn't have any budget left to make a worthwhile film.

Makes sense. A shame.

The sad thing is that with these two actors, even a mediocre script would have resulted in a good movie. But this script was just horrendous.

Agreed. The part where they were fighting in the hardware store and Samuel Jackson magically appeared outside...
