That wasn't the ending... Didn't you watch the end credits? There's a final scene after they're over.

He was one of the three British gangsters that went to Lilyhammer to investigate the death of the guy with the yellow car (the same guy that now haunts Torgeir). I believe he was the guy's uncle...
