Maybe the series finale of Lilyhammer will give Sopranos proper ending

If this is Silvio's dream while he's in a coma, when he wakes up, you can have Paulie, his girl and others in the Hospital room and he then asks, "Where's T"? Then they would tell him what happened.

Now, I think Tony was killed but for some reason there was a lot of confusion behind it. If and this is a big if, David Chase sanctions something like this, it would be huge for Netflix.

It would get buzz, but I think this show should be about this show and not one that ended years ago.

I don't think they should, or will do that. I like how they leave it up to the viewer to decide what this show is about.

Besides, Silvio seems far happier as Frank than he ever was in real life (in the Sopranos, that is). I wouldn't want to wake up if I were him.

The Sopranos ending is perfect as is and so is Lilyhammer.

Tony being killed is the only option left now that James Gandolfini is gone. However, if he were still alive, I don't think he would have been interested in reprising his role. With the kind of ending The Sopranos had, you can't backpedal out of it by giving it a definitive conclusion now. I'm sure JG knew that, and so does Steven Van Zandt. However, you can still get away with teasing the audience with the idea that the old man mentions in the Season 3 premiere.

I always thought of that too, but I doubt it will go that way.
