Lilyhammer i started watching it and Norway you are so unapologetic racist lol wtf? It's great, i wish popular cultural was like this here as well, we are such pussies
That show openly demonizes arabs/mudslimes

The show itself is pretty sloppy and cheap but its interesting just for the cultural aspects

Is it a fringe TV channel where this show runs?
It was so shocking the "primitive" insensitivity. Not sarcasm, just animosity towards arabs

We have of course trashy talking heads who express such opinions but no prime tv series running on state channels so openly racist lol

Did you actually watch the show? Do you think, quote: "That show openly demonizes arabs/mudslimes" /unquote, or do you think it's characters are caricatures of norwegian stereotype predjudice?
I'm in favor of the last option...

I can see places like that being acist only because it's so out of the way from anything else other than it's own. So with the Arab migration and a religion like Christianity forcing them to accept foreigners without adhering to their fears and trying to work things out by way of understanding eh...well, people could be that way. No different I suppose from Europeans going to Africa enforcing their ways via post colonization but then that's life isn't it?

We are only kind to people who fly Jets into our buildings. That has not happened in Norway at least not yet.
