Two actors so good in their roles I do not like them personally

Fridtjov Såheim in Lillyhammer was so obnoxious, so irritating in his character that I have seen him in other small parts and hated him just seeing him. Jeremy Davies as Upham in Saving Private Ryan was so unlikable when he (Upham) let his comrades die while he (Upham) cowered on the stairs (yes I know not every soldier in wartime is a 'Rambo') that in every thing I see him in I hope his character dies, especially in Lost. I am sure they are both nice people in real life, but their portrayals of Jan and Upham were so good, I just cannot stand to see them at all. I guess it how great an actor these two really are then.
