I feel the movie would have ended better if it all just ended up being a "scare". I mean, they "were " scared sh*tless

That would have made it a lame ending, and therefore a lame movie IMO. 'THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.' Too wimpy. It's a HORROR MOVIE.
