The point of the dog?? and what a poor movie?.

What i wanna know is why do they always bring in an animal in the film just to have it killed??....

9 times out of 10 if there is an animal in the film its going to get killed, and its really annoying me now.

I watched this film the other night and god it was a bore. I mean who never knew or has an inkling that it was not the grey haired man from the diner...

Also did they really think that we would believe the man outside was going to end up being the killer?? Yawn another 1 hour or so wasted of my life was not impressed.

The dog had more point than the rest of the film: his lines were better, so was his acting, and his scenes were the best ones. Apart from this, the only interesting thing was the credits. Ninety minutes of stultifying boredom. There was nothing much to see in the darkness; the music lulled one to sleep. The killer's voice sounded just like an actor in a recording studio, and not much like a man calling from the roadside. Unless the hippy store-owner was also an expert ventriloquist who could throw his voice. But they should have thrown him and the writer/director and the other actors into the dustbin. It always amazes me that people can produce such a film, then watch it at the end of all the work involved, and say to each other, 'Yes, we're satisfied with the finished product - people will enjoy our work, even those brain-dead idiots who always watch the Horror Channel...' Brain-dead people like me, I guess, but if I was suffering from insomnia I wouldn't watch this again. I'd prefer to watch ninety minutes of the Welsh Assembly, discussing planning regulations or diversity policy.

I thought the film was cheesy and predictable but I didn't mind it. I have to say the dog was my favourite character - Buddy was awesome!
