Where can I see this?

Hello!
I'm a huge passionate movie fan as well as an aspiring actor and every year I try to watch ALL the Oscar nominations. God knows, it's hard tracking all of them down so we can try helping each other out.. I know I'm not the only one..

And me of course living in Europe, is having a lot of problems tracking down all these exciting films!

Where can I see this?

Thanks from one movie fan to another!

Rob

Agreed- its frustrating that they nominate so many films/ shorts that are in no way available to the public.

All I've seen is "The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore," which is readily available online (Vimeo). I will post here (or PM you) if I can find any others.

I do know that "Dimanche/ Sunday" and "The Wild Life" were temporarily available to the public yesterday but has been taken off already. Now they're available for $1.95/ ea on the nfb.ca site...

I couldn't agree more... I loved The Fantastic Flying Books...

Buddy, you want em? I got both Dimanche and Wild Life as downloaded files and I would be more than happy to help out a movie lover :) I help whenever I can :)

PM me :)

I went to the theater to see the Animated Shorts but they didn't show "La Luna" with the rest of the Oscar nominated shorts. I can't find it in iTunes either. Any help would be appreciated also! - John

Don't worry too much about La Luna; I've heard that they'll be pairing it with the feature Brave when it comes out this summer.

If I hadn't enjoyed "Fantastic Flying Books ..." so much I would have felt ripped off that the Animated Oscar Shorts I paid to see didn't include "La Luna".

reply

It will come out attached to Brave, yes. Still sucks to pay to see something, and not have it be there! I'm excited to see it in a few months though!

reply

Yup I just saw it in front of "Brave." Both were great.
