One of those lesser horror films a novelisation would do wonders to

let's see what do we get, a good idea to run with but lots of issues that come with it being a film.

If this thing got turned into a written word, we could have had different character viewpoint chapters (even the ghost), flashback without odd jerky camera tricks, and since there's some clear admiration on the writing for some same sex play, that could be even more played up.

This one goes right up my list of okay movies that someone should really give the story a do-over, it certainly couldn't make it worse.
