Worst product placement ever in a movie? And a parody of it too?
I can't recall a movie where there is a brand (Apple) that is so thoroughly placed throughout the entire movie and in a very uncool way too if I may add.
What is ironic though is that the very reason for the problem this movie is based upon, namely not having full control of what your electronic devices does with your files etc..., is a problem that that very brand have a huge responsibility for (along with 2-3 other companies), advocating for public sharing, synchronization and cloud services as the norm when in reality most people don't want it and if they do they could easily have figured out how anyway.
So to me I would find it rather hilarious if it turns out that Apple paid for having this product placement as all in all I would argue it's arguably just as much a parody of how idiotic many modern electronic devices are set up assuming the user is an idiot than it is an effective brand placement for a brand in that very same product genre...
