It makes me wonder. How was Lauren able to see Haley's comment on Dana's wall? Dana wasn't friends with Lauren on FB so I thought only friends can see what their friends post on their wall? Or did Dana not make her page private which other people can see her activity?

If she has her settings switched to public anyone can see her page.
