a rift to where?
Alternate universe?
Hell?
The dark side of the human imagination?
Any votes?

The other side of the sky? Wouldn't that be a thing, to find that all these years what we thought was "The sky" is just an illusionary wall, just like a blanket.
Tick Tock Goes the Clock...
whoa dude, you just blew my mind man.
share-MIND EXPLOSION-
Now i have high expectations for this film and the director.

Hmm...on a serious note, i have a fair working knowledge of quantum physics, but i believe that even though the math suggests it, this alternate universe theory is just hokum. Strangely I'm inclined towards believing that extra or alternate dimensions theory may however be true.

So is Schrodinger's cat dead or alive or both, without looking into the box? When you say alternate or extra dimensions do you mean just extra ones or a whole new set (+1) like M theory or something? I don't really know just interested.
THIS rift was actually pretty good http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099701/
and o yeah,YOUR rift DOES look bad and the sound mix is awful. But hey, what can you expect on a $20,000 budget, right? I'd say more but it's hard for me to last even 5 or 10 minutes after seeing a 'Maverick' logo. LOL

Clickable link for those who like things simplified. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0875613/
By the way, you should know that movie pirate sites are using both the poster for your movie, your name and the name of your cast members to trick people into watching the aforementioned The Rift.

Looks cool, but all I get thinking about was The Mist.
shareExactly what I thought :)
Made me think abut Twilight Princess too with the creatures coming out of the rifts :D
I'll definately watch this movie.
P.S. I loved Skyline and it had a super-low-budget and yet, the movie looked awesome.
Okay, now that I am totally confused about who is hating what & what sucks & doesn't, which Rift is which?
How about using
Rift (2009) About a submarine
Rift (2011) Slasher film
Rift, The (2012) A rip in the UNiverse/Mist?
Now when everyone rips on a movie called Rift I'll know which one to avoid.
We're all in strung out shape, but stay frosty, and alert.
