For the first time I felt the need to start a topic in IMDB. This movie is great! It has a great ending, and I believe that with a bigger budget and continuing the story from where it ended it will become something very interesting.
I've watched low budget movies before, and by low budget I mean numbers around 100 000, 200 000 USD. This movie beat them all. The effects were realistic and on high level. 10/10

I watched about half of it and then had to pause it while I took a minute out of my schedule in order to beat my fist through a drywall.
The John Cusack lookalike playing the lead character can't act to save his life. I know $20,000 won't get you any A-listers, but come on now, even the guy who played the cook was a better actor.
There's got to be more than one aspiring actor with some talent out there, right?

sometimes, for bad stuff, i just keep the audio in the background while doing other stuff.

Yes fantastic and made for 20k thats some job just like how John Carpenter started out just shows you , you can make a good movie without a lot of cash - half of these mega cost movies its down to the massively inflated wages of the stars - Apparently Vin Diesel got 15 million for the new god awful movie the last witch hunter - oh boy was that bad! Then there are all the unneccessary hangers on and job titles.
I rememeber - when i wur a lad - the credits lasted 3 mins max , now they can last for over 10 mins!
No wonder movies these days cost so much!
This is a perfect example of a well made short movie on a low budget.
I hope the director goes on to bigger things as he definitely has talent!
Sadly the main actor should have been replaced by the cook - he was not bad!
