No way would she do that.

Ok, so for starters, let me say that overall I loved this. I identified with it. I enjoyed it. I laughed. I teared up. The characters were very relatable and the dialogue was truly above average. However, there is one glaringly obvious flaw- the ending. That's not to say you couldn't make this movie where she stays in her stagnant life and marriage. By all means! Do that! That's reality a lot of the time. Everything doesn't have to be a fairy tale ending. I get it! My issue is that the way these characters were written, there is no way she would do what she did. She wouldn't go from being so completely in love with this person that she has never been able to stop pining for him, driving home to see him, setting it all up perfectly, only to walk up and tell him she wanted nothing to do with it. She wouldn't do that as the movie was written! If the writer intended on this ending, he should have made it make sense. He could have included at least ONE scene where she and Graham were happy or some other reason that she might have valued this relationship more. She seemed not to care or show any interest in him at ALL, yet in the last ten minutes she completely flips script? Over that home movie of the helicopter proposal? It makes no sense! Even in that scene, she looks sad and distant, like her heart isn't really in it. It made no sense. It could have been done more authentically.
