In one scene of part 2, Ramadhir singh says that they are five (sons of Sardar Khan), not four;four from first wife and one from the second.
But in movie, we see just four - Danish, Faizal, Perpendicular and Definite. Even in first part, there were only four. Danish, Faizal and Definite as kids and Perpendicular as infant. So who is the fifth son??
Am I missing anyone here??
I posted the same question on the message boards for the second part. Somehow, the 2nd part page is not loading. And yes, I also could not recollect the 5th son.

I think perpendicular had a 4th brother and considering definite as the 5th
but this 4th mysterios brother was never highlighted or shown, so why add such a meaning less detail ?

shareI don't think so. There is a scene at 13:37 where Nagma is sitting with her other two sons when, Danish walks in and asks both of them to go inside the house. There does not seem to be much of an age difference between the two sons. Now, Perpendicular is the youngest son who is 14. So, the other son's age would be somewhere around 17 at the most. And Guddu does not seem to be so young. Guddu was just a friend of Faizal's. I don't think Anurag Kashyap would 'forget' a character so easily. I just believe that the character was not significant enough to be a part of the story. I have watched the movie several times and was unable to spot the 5th son.

2. The scene (at 13:37....from the DVD), where Nagma is picking lice from the hair of one of her sons, Danish walks in and asks the 2 boys to go inside. This was just after Danish killed one of the killers of Sardar Khan in the "Rajhans Mansion" with the help of Asgar
The fourth son was probably not important enough to be shown.
I feel writers should not have mentioned about fourth son in the first place, if he was not important enough :) Because people are bound to go for details in an Anurag Kashyap movie :)

I think Nagma never ever had four sons. Because
a) In a scene in part 1, the baby Perpendicular, is seen sleeping with Danish and Faizal. Now, if there ever was any Parallel, they would have shown it in part 1 as they did for Perpendicular.

b) In the end of part 2, only Mohsina, Nasir and Mohsina's son are shown living in Mumbai. They would have taken Parallel along with them to Mumbai.
IMO,there is no need to declare "Parallel" or whomsoever as the fourth son. AK should simply accept that the writers goofed up. After all, people make mistakes :)
In GOW 1 Manoj Bajpayee while arguing with Richa Chadda says- you like having kids that's why u have 4 kids while my mother had 1 only...blah blah blah....so definitely there were 4 kids, manoj being the father would not make such a stupid mistake in counting how many sons he had...but may b the kid died was paralyzed crippled or may b just ignorant about everything going on in his family and rest of the world...

Bhaiyya OP, it's not called a "loophole". This is intentional and is usually kept for further debates, interpretations and possible story progression.
