How BAD does this look?

Just saw the trailer twice in two days!!! Once during The Avengers and again during The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and both times the audience erupted in laughter when they showed a non-relevant shot of Brandon Routh shirtless, like it had anything to do with the plot or point of the movie. LMAO

And on top of that, this movie looks worse than a straight-to-ABC Family channel movie.

You mean the OP judged a trailer, which is totally meant to make their movie look good in order to sell tickets? You're supposed to assume judgement on a movie because of the trailer. That's the whole point.

But yes, the movie looks quite awful.

THANK YOU! I can't even believe that poster made a comment that insipid. I was commenting ONLY on the godawful trailer which is supposed to be selling the movie to the audience. It looked AWFUL and I certainly won't be seeing it.

hey aussie douche

if you're going to try to use big words like insipid....you should probably look them up in the dictionary 1st.

LMAO

and just wondering....how many other movies have you reviewed here by just seeing the trailer?

I love lacrosse, I played in high school and college. So I felt obligated to see this movie. It was actually better than I thought, sure it was predictable and at times corny. However, it was well worth the ticket money as it kept me entertained the whole time. My advice is to give it a chance, for a low budget film it was better than a lot of the $200 million movies currently out there.

It ended up being much better than expected.

My lacrosse playing 12 yr old and his buddies really enjoyed it.

Production quality was clearly less than a big-budget giant $100MM mega-studio film, but quite frankly that sort of investment was not needed.

Great to see the Native American support for this film.

I fully recommend it to all lacrosse fans (and especially to young players)

well these "inspirational sports stories" are formulaic and follow a cookie cutter pattern but I have never heard of or seen a movie about Lacrosse its NOT as common as football, soccer, hockey, basketball, or baseball or volleyball its one of the lesser sports in overall popularity so that helps keep this movie from being completely generic.

Maybe it's because you're a closet Dark Shadows fan.

It's worse than it looks. Terrible movie. Acting is horrible. Story is lame. Directing is worse. Direct to video quality at best. They promote the film as the first LAX movie, but its actually the second ("A Warrior's Heart" was first but who's counting?). If so, couldn't they pick a better story? They could have chosen anything being the first. Do we really need to incorporate Indian casinos? Pretty clear the producers got "support" from a casino and did it for the paycheck. Honestly, I feel bad for the LAX community that this represents the first - and probably the last LAX film. They deserve better. Lame all around.
