If you liked Borgman, I'd wager you'll also like Stoker (2013). It's a wonderful little psychological thriller starring Matthew Goode, Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman, all three in top form.

The Shout by Skolimowsky
Tree Women by Altman

I second Altman's 3 Women for that surreal, dreamlike quality.

We've met before, haven't we?

Having not yet watched the movie, I can only be struck by the description's calling to mind Boudu saved from drowning, and its American remake, Down and out in Beverly Hills.

Since you have seen Kynodontas already, maybe you should try watching the Mexican movie that originated the idea, El castillo de la pureza, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068348/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
