Awesome!

I went to see this last night and I am quite glad I did!

I've seen documentaries on Bruce in the past, have watched most of his movies, have read The Tao of Jeet Kune Do, and once read a biography on him. And even though I am already quite familiar with him, there were still some surprises about his life, some footage that I had never before seen, and some good reflections both from people who knew him personally (Linda Lee, Dan Inosanto, Gene LeBell, Shannon Lee, Bob Wall) and those who did not but who were influenced by him in some way (Mickey Rourke, Dana White, Jon Jones, Cung Le, Stephan Bonnar, Kobe Bryant, and some others who I had never heard of).

All in all, I thought it was really well done and thought it was kind of cool to be part of this little event that was a two-night only thing in my city.

Not a bad endorsement, I'm still on the fence about seeing it, as it is the third of this type of documentary I can recall being made in recent times. That is, the type where people who didn't know him, celebrities of some kind, are talking about how great he was.

That's awesome and all, but really, since they aren't people who knew him, I feel their input shouldn't really be focused on that much since there's no difference between them talking about him and me and my friends talking about him aside from the fame.

It really seemed a bit like a way for those celebrities to put themselves up and promote themselves from the trailer, piggybacking on Bruce's legacy. Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey has remained the best documentary I've seen about him yet, as it was more serious and reverant than this appears. I hope it lives up!

I think the modern-day interviews are interesting because they show how influential Bruce continues to be, all these years after his death.

because the documentary wAS an endorsement to the stupid hollywood stars, i mean that girl who said bruce was sexy and a cutie and really wanted to be with him, FAKE !!!!

you could tell its something that she was saying because she was PANDERING to the audience

yeah because I have totally seen white girls wanna be with us asian boys, if all in all its about being a rebel its usually about banging a BLACK guy because his supposedly got a huge wang

black people in the states have marketed themselves well very all gansta like yet still hold traits of being a white guy i.e speaking english and all that

but us asians?? where's the love??

no one respects us asians especially if we're small
