is there a bug when muting team-mates?

or am i just stupid?

every now and again you get some idiot wearing a mike, saying not one word and blasting out $hitty music in the background ruining your multiplayer experience. ooor you get some noob discussing beyonce's baby with his wife for a solid 15 minutes. "is it blue ivy, or ivy blue? it's blue, because that's her favourite colour...." kill me now.

anyways it seems like you can't mute these jokers instantly, even if you specifically select them and mute them. as far as i can tell you have to suffer through an entire game with them until the muting comes into effect at the start of the next game. am i wrong here? anyone know if you can silence these fools instantly (without quitting!)?

There is a bug, yes. The in-game mute option doesn't work for me either. But then when I bring the Xbox Guide up, scroll over to recent players and actually mute him on his Xbox profile so if, by chance, I ever came across the same person in any game I wouldn't be able to hear them, it still doesn't work!

Since these two wrote the script I know what won't be in the sequel and it's common sense.

Just change sqauds, simple and effective!! Done it many times!!

That's actually what I had to do in the end. And this guy wasn't even talking/singing/whatever. His mic must been faulty because I was just getting static through my headset all game with the occasional high-pitched wail.

Since these two wrote the script I know what won't be in the sequel and it's common sense.

Those are the worst, peeps with broken mics and having no clue cause they can't here anyways.
