A good movie and a good film score {spoilers}

SPOILERS.

"Mockingjay Part 1" is a very edge of your seat intense flick. The score composed by James Newton Howard is very good, it's dark, it has more bass and the tracks are more subtle than the score from the previous films, you can find the film score album on Spotify.

In my book, the best scenes are when they're attempting to avoid Snow's army when they're in the massive underground bunker thingy.

Elizabeth Banks does a fantastic job with her character "Effie", even without all of the makeup and funky clothing and wild afro hairstyles, she still manages to bring out the femininity and personality of "Effie" even through the non-glamorous clothes that the character is forced to wear. Most of the characters are now in different situations, there's no more glamour and living comfortably.

The camerawork by Director Francis Lawrence is perfect, the Producers Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik are talented and the Cinematographer Jo Willems did a great job, the Editors Alan Edward Bell and Mark Yoshikawa did a bang up job as well, all the scenes are perfect, there isn't one scene that should have been left out, everything is where it needs to be.

Agree. It's refreshing to find a poster who understands that action is not the only
way to make a film intense.

Right again. Although the decision to split the final book was not made by the filmmakers
they successfully used the extra screen time to expand on the themes from the first half
of the book.

And I love James Newton Howard's scores for all the films.
