Question about Plutarch Heavensbee:
If he was part of the 'Rebel Alliance', and his goal was to help pull Katniss out and make sure she stayed alive & safe, why was he trying so hard to kill her during the games? Thanx!

Well, he was undercover. He couldn't make it obvious to Snow that he was trying to keep Katniss alive. The arena and its traps were created before he ever knew that Katniss would be put in the arena. From his position there wasn't much he could do besides create a plan with some of the other tributes to get her out (and protect her and peeta along the way). He knew Katniss was smart, skilled, and would have allies, so he took his chances and figured she would be able to survive until then.
