Amazing violence in this film

Still unsure if Piggy WAS his imagination as others have suggested, I think when he was looking at that chef knife after being mugged was a clue, as it turned up as a present from Piggy, but the violence was VERY strong......made me wince a few times, especially the throat slashing scene.

I think 'Piggy' was the devil in him, as Satan/Lucifer has been depicted as a pig in a few films (ie, Amityville Horror) so I think it WAS an imagination, but the pure evil in him wanting revenge.
Thats my take.....anyway

Wouldn't go so far as to say it was the devil in him, but it was a darker side of him. Pretty obvious they were both the same though or the girl would've acknowledged piggy when he was pacing around.

There was very little violence, actually seen.

The throat slitting was quite well done, most of the other violence was done with sound effects, editing and makeup.

You're not only wrong. You're wrong at the top of your voice.
