Film locations

This was filmed real close to my house. Which I found funny how they were able to go to a from searching for the dog in bridgeport to allstate arena back to bridgeport back to allstate. All within two hours when it is about an hour drive time trip just to get there. That is when traffic allows.
I could not figure out where Clay was living at though. That was not Lake Michigan, Diamond Lake maybe?
